rifle presentation

I was sick on Monday and Tuesday and was not aware that the final blog was due so im writing it now. the presentation went well because it was just a video that me and tim made about the process of restoring the rifle and we even managed to put video of tim shooting it. overall this project was a great experience and it made me actually care about my grades in high school.

Semester 2 week 10

the gun has not been worked on in a while but tim recently went hunting with it so he had to put it all back together the gun is all blued now to al the metal parts work fine, he also made a few scratches look better so now all that left is to continue to remove oil from the gun to bring its original color back

semester 2 week 9 bluing the rifle

Tim was able to have Scott come over to his house and bring a bluing chemical. the bluing is working really well on the receiver and is coming out really nice. But the end of the barrel and where the bayonet were acting really weird. when we put gun oil on it we will see if it will fix itself. if not we can fix it. it's just going to be a pain in the butt. other than that he's working on getting the oil out.
